The ideal tool for removing and replacing valve springs of B & S Engines. Long and slender, it is adapted to reach into small recesses in which valve springs and retaining washers are located. The arms are hinged so they're practically parallel at the jaws. The jaws are adjustable in width to fit the valve springs and have edges so thin that they can be easily forced under and over the ends of the valve spring to compress it.

For installing & removing piston rings without the danger of breakage or distortion. No adjustments needed. All rings expanded whether step-cut or diagonal cut. 2" to 4" capacity.
