Comet 780 Series

We have two different 1" Bore Comet 780 Clutches. The Comet 302405A Clutch is Calibrated for Engagement @ 1700 RPM. The Comet 302424A Clutch is Calibrated for Engagement @ 2100 RPM.

Optional Air Holes for improved cooling. Quiet, dependable operation. Uses a 1-3/16" or 1-1/4" Top Width Belt. Field proven performance and limited maintenance. Multiple weight and spring calibration options allow for peak engine and overall unit performance. Can be used in combination with other Comet drivens for virtually every load and speed need OEM and aftermarket parts available. Light-weight aluminum die castings provide one of the lightest, high capacity drives on the market. Manufactured in the USA. The Highly Tunable Comet 780 Series Torque Converter Clutch can be used with your selection of several different driven diameters and spring configurations to obtain the ideal driver to driven ratios for each specific application. Torque sensitive drives are particularly suited to those applications where immediate response to torque demand is required for down shifting and where engine speed is ideally maintained at it's peak RPM.

Used on: American Landmaster Trail Wagon TW400 UTV's, Land Pride Trekker UTV's, Textron, John Deere AMT Gator 600, 622, 626 (600 Series) Primary Clutch (John Deere AET10636, AM108520 - Black Anodized Dome Cover), Jacobsen, Cushman Utility Vehicles and Golf Carts. Replacement for the Obsolete John Deere AM108500 (Black Anodized Dome Cover). Comet 302405A Silver Dome Replaces the Obsolete Comet 300827C Black Dome. Can be used to replace obsolete Comet 301640A, Salsbury 301640-A, which has 1800 RPM Engagement. Drive Clutch for Recreatives Industries MAX ATV's and Feterl Pug ATV's.
